Hokkaido, Japan's northern island, is famous for its dairy. The cool climate, wide open pastures, and low-stress farming environment produce milk with an almost vanilla-like character and a richness that is distinctly different from standard milk powder. When Fossa chose to make a milk chocolate bar centred entirely on milk quality, Hokkaido was the natural choice.
Paired with fruity cacao from the Kokoa Kamili Fermentery in Tanzania — one of Fossa's longest-standing cacao relationships — the result is a milk chocolate that is genuinely full-bodied. Rich, creamy, aromatic, with a lingering finish that reveals the quality of both origins beneath it.
