Honey Orchid Dancong Oolong Dark Milk is the oolong counterpart to Fossa's award-winning Hongcha bar — and a Silver Award winner at the International Chocolate Awards 2019 in its own right.

Where the Hongcha version uses an aged black tea preparation with lychee and red date character, this bar uses the same Honey Orchid (蜜兰香) dancong varietal from Phoenix Mountain processed as an oolong — partially oxidised, producing a tea with a distinct guava aroma, floral lightness, and a creamy quality that is unique to this style and origin.

The specific lot — hand-harvested from Tian Zhu Keng village in Spring 2020 — is paired with Kokoa Kamili cacao from Tanzania, allowing the tea's guava and floral character to come through in the chocolate with remarkable clarity. For tea lovers, this bar is a revelation. For chocolate lovers unfamiliar with dancong oolong, it opens a door to one of East Asia's most complex tea traditions.
