The Pistachio Knafeh Meltaway is Fossa Chocolate's take on the viral Dubai-style chocolate — and an extraordinary one at that. Where many versions lean heavily on novelty, Fossa brings the same craft and ingredient quality that defines every bar in their range.
Knafeh is a Middle Eastern dessert built on kataifi — ultra-fine shredded pastry that is baked in butter until golden and crispy, then layered with cream or cheese and drenched in fragrant sugar syrup. Fossa takes the essential elements: creamy pistachio, fragrant tahini, and crispy brown butter kataifi pastry, and encases them in a malty Ecuadorian origin dark chocolate shell. The contrast of textures — crispy pastry, smooth pistachio cream, firm chocolate shell — is genuinely satisfying, and the crunch is as addictive as described.
At 70g, made in limited quantities. Store in the fridge for best texture.
