Salted egg cereal is a dish that swept Singapore's food culture in the 2010s — golden, crispy cereal coated in a rich, savoury salted egg yolk sauce with curry leaves and chilli padi. Fossa translates this tze-char classic into a chocolate bar using homemade salted egg cereal blended into a special caramelised white chocolate — a blond chocolate made by slowly cooking white chocolate until it develops a deep biscuity, toffee-like character.

The combination of savoury salted egg yolk, crispy cereal texture, fragrant curry leaves, and the gentle heat of chilli padi against the sweet blond chocolate base is genuinely unlike anything else in craft chocolate.
