Tasting Notes: Savory, moreish chocolate with warm toasty sesame aroma
A collaboration between Heritage company Chee Seng Oil Factory and artisan chocolate maker Fossa Chocolate.
The sesame seed, often referred to as the “Queen of oil seeds,” is known for its exceptional oil yield and intoxicating aroma. In the extraction process of sesame oil, a valuable by-product known as sesame seed meal is left behind. This meal, previously considered a residual product, is nutrient rich and intensely flavourful.
We’ve upcycled this powerhouse ingredient with a base of creamy Tanzanian 58% dark milk chocolate, creating an aromatic chocolate with a satisfying coarse-grounded texture.
